NLRView Performance Test Points

NLRView Performance Test Points

The NLRView infrastructure provides a number of testpoints to help troubleshoot end-to-end performance issues on networks and end systems. Two of the tools provided to do allow end users to troubleshoot and measure performance are NPAD and NDT.

These tests run on the NLRView Performance Test PC located in the NLR Packetnet Pops. Each of these PCs have a 10 Gig Ethernet NICs directly.

NDT

The Network Diagnosis Tool (NDT) is a client/server program that provides network configuation and performance testing to user's desktop computer. NLR has deployed NDT servers on the NLRView  infrastructure for performance tests
